1975
Founding of the Troy Arts Council
The Troy Arts Council was established to promote and support the arts in Troy, Alabama, laying the foundation for a vibrant cultural community.
1985
Inaugural TroyFest Celebration
We launched TroyFest, an annual arts festival that celebrates local artists and attracts visitors from across the region.
1995
Partnership with Troy University
Formed a strategic partnership with Troy University to enhance our performance series and educational outreach programs.
2005
Launch of the Jean Lake Memorial Art Scholarship
Introduced a scholarship program to support aspiring artists in honor of renowned local artist Jean Lake.
2015
Expansion of Community Programs
Expanded our community engagement initiatives to include mini-grants for teachers and workshops for K-12 students.
